Tresca Italia was inspired years ago by a trip
to the Island of Capri and its sandals. Creative Director and Founder Lori
Giglio Gibson fell in love with the beauty and art behind the handmade shoes,
and brought the art to Tampa, Florida.
Lori and her family returned to Capri recently, and not only found new jewelry styles for our custom-made sandals. We already offer more than 75 styles of shoe jewelry – so with the new additions, your decision will be even harder!
Additionally, while in Capri we learned new techniques for fitting our sandals. Our cobbler Francesco, who crafts our sandals in our store, will be implementing these new techniques very soon. If you’re not familiar with our process, you select the shoe’s jewelry, pick any one of our four heel choices, and Francesco will fit and craft your shoes in approximately 30 minutes. For out-of-town customers, Francesco will make your sandals as you like, and we will ship them to you within three business days.
